Probably your cheapest option would be to scour the local pawnshops, I can't count the number of times I've entered one after the hunting seaosn and saw fully tricked out bows for under $300 because some bubba needed money for bills or was trying to finance a newer bow. You can find some amazing deals if you shop around and pay cash.

Check the SWAP/BUY/SELL section below on this forum. There are several bows listed there. You may also want to include a little info in you'r request. ( draw length/weight desired, R. or L. handed ect.)

JMO but,,,unless you are bow tuning savvy go to a good shop. They get trade ins and you can leave with a bow that is all setup and ready to go.

Martin, and Parker sells bow combo's that are set up and tuned at a very resonable price.
You cant walk into to many pro shops with less than 700 and match what you will be getting from either of these two options.
I bought mine over the net, and saved about 200 on the bow itself, compared to what i'd pay at any of the local bow shops in my area. If you are worried about tuning your bow, don't! You can do a search on most anything on ways to tune your bow yourself. All it takes is time. If you have any problems with the tuning, all of us here would do all we could to help ya out.
Good Luck!

thanks alot. i actually went to Dick's tonight and looked for one. they had one of the new reflex bows for around 500. as far as tuning goes i know a couple of people who know what they are doing so thats not an issue. i just want to but a bow without getting murdered on buying it. do you think ebay or buying over the net would be a better idea on getting one for a better price

My wife has bought and sold on ebay many times. Generally on ebay you can look at the sellers feedback and get an accurate assessment of their reliability. Solohunter

You can go over to Girts Archery in Anderson. They have a lot of package bows and do the set up free. They are able to set up and have you sighted in in no time.

actually i bought a reflex bow from Girt's archery a couple of years back that i really enjoyed shooting. i might have to go up there and see what all they have. also i have seen a couple of high countrys and dont know much about them. are they good bows? most of the time that i see them they are selling for a cheap price.
