M/L cleaned and put away. Clothes washed and bagged. New blades on Rocket Sidewinders. Shooting everyday again. No work to get in the way of hunting(except farm chores). Saved some stand sites that have not been hunted. Maybe some snow coming. Oh the joy... ;D Solohunter

I am ready to grab the bow again as well. Yesterday while hunting I saw plenty of deer and they seem to be back to their predictable movements. Two weeks to make something happen. Good luck man!

I'm ready to start slingin' some arrows again too. I'm hoping to hunt over a decent snow before the year is over. Or even better....during a snow! The last day of the season two years ago, heavy white flakes coming down, deer running everywhere, it was a great memory.

The last day of the season two years ago, heavy white flakes coming down, deer running everywhere, it was a great memory. I remember that after/ evening, snow was flying everywhere, I kept blowing the snow out of my peep and pulling my bow back to keep loose. About 430pm, the snow stopped and the deer came out of the woodwork, they came at me from all 4 directions, bagged a nice doe that evening..yes it was a very memorable last day.... Solohunter

I love late season bowhunting for does. I hope I can find the time to get out a few times, I'm watching the rain turn to snow right now in at my house. Here is a picture from a few years ago.

Great pic Green....I really enjoy the late season, very quiet. I hope we get a little snow..that is one fat doe....wish our late archery went through Jan. I believe NJ has a season into Feb. There was a recent article about late bowhunting. We have THINK SNOW written on our blackboard. Solohunter

I have also wanted the season to go later into the year like Ohio. It doesn't seem like there was much support for it. Not necessarily against it, but rather not much interest in pushing for it.
How did you and Noble do today?
