Woody, I am impressed. Those are some excellent deer and very nice mounts. How do you like that sneak. I have one and I don't care much for it. And you talked about how nice my deer were, I don't have nothing on those deer.

biggame75,
That is a full sneak.
Back when I had it mounted that was the latest thing to do.
Quite different from the uprights.
I really wish I had done it differently.
Taxidermy and forms have come a LONG way since then.

I shot this deer in Northern Hendricks County in 1993's gun season, back when it was said that there were no big deer in Indiana. -Bill

Hmmm, I took pics when this thread first came up, just never posted them. ;D Here's a couple pics of the ones on the wall at my parents. Mine is on the left, Grandpa's antlers are in the middle, and Dad's is on the right... I shot this buck in '98, I think, opening weeked of shotgun. Pulled the tape on him last winter and I think he measures ~110 gross. After I shot him, he ran about 20 yards and hit head first into a tree. I think there's still bits of bark embedded in the antlers! The mounts do need a good dusting. This is Dad's buck. I'm fairly certain that his buck was with mine when I shot mine. He took his during muzzleloader season that same year. The antler bases have a LOT of mass- can't get my hands completely around them. And one of Grandpa's. Don't remember for sure when he took this deer, but it was a couple years after Dad and I got ours. Wish I had a pic of the whole wall....
