Here are pics of Hoosier's buck. He is a good 'ol Owen County boy who killed this deer, but he did kill it in Greene County. He is good buddies with a buddy of mine, rumor has it he is going to take me to fill my buck tag in the next few weeks. Congrats on a great deer.

I also like the no camo. Looks like a late 50's early 60's picture.
Did you shoot a ball or bullet?

NICE BUCK !!! I also like the no camo. Looks like a late 50's early 60's picture. Did you shoot a ball or bullet? Bill[/quote I shot him with a round ball (as always for me). Thanks alot to mullis56 for posting for me. It is very appreciated! As to putting him or anybody on another buck like this one??? Well, I wish I had a few more tied up, but don't. This year has been real tough in my areas of Owen county due to EHD. My buck came from Greene county as noted before. I took him in an area where I bowhunted hard and knew a good buck was using, but, he always zigged when I needed him to zag. I was fortunate enough to watch him come across 300 yards of cornfield at a right angle to me and enter the narrow wooded ridge I was on. After entering my ridge I heard him coming and saw him about 70 yards out. I looked him over as he narrowed the gap at a quick pace. I bleated at a good time and stopped him about 40 yards out and down the ridge. The roundball hit both lungs and the top of his heart. I was able to watch him run downhill to the bottom of the ridge and go down on his nose in another cornfield. He went about 60 yards. It is hard to describe how I felt in harvesting this buck. Rest assured though, nobody could appreciate it any more. Thanks for all the "atta-boy"s everyone.
