They need a bit more room to manuver in the woods but are much more stable in rough terrain with the longer wheel base. The top gets skinned-up on typical ATV trails. When you load up to capacity you will loose ground clearance unless you stiffen-up the suspension & or go with taller tires. When you belly-hang one you have your hands full.

We do ADC and wildlife managment work, so trail riding is not on the top of the list. The belly hanging is defininently something to remember. Is the bed much smaller than the regular ranger?

Before I bought my Kubota RTV I looked and drove about everything out there... If towing hauling capacity is a major concern I would cerainly take a look at the RTV. IF you need additional seating there are several aftermarket jump seat type makers out there...as well All I can say is it is tough as a tank and stable as a goat... It can go everyplace that my Kawasaki Prarie 650 can... Good luck in your search... Kevin
