I have been looking at several places, anyone got any input on Haspin Acres, Badlands or Lawrence County Recreation Park?
Where else is there to ride?
Anyone know when Redbird is going to open up?

I live within a couple of miles from Red Bird and althuogh I haven't rode there since the state took it over, I wasn't aware they closed. I know there are some rules that apply to riding there, but there use to be some awesome riding there. Mud, hills, trails, you name it.

Red Bird requires registeration and helments. No 2 up riding unless your machine was made for it, rhino, mule, and some atv's like the bombarier's (can-am). There is a link on the DNR websit for the Red Bird Park. Lots of out of state riding that is really great if your willing to drive alittle. One of my favorites is Harlan Co. KY. Super riding and great people. I can post acouple of links if you are interested. My last trip was 150 miles with very little "back-tracking" same trails in a 1 1/2 days.

Glad to hear you rode there..I've been several times..Just like everything else,it gets boring after a few times..We all used to go riding in the quarries around here too(several thousand acres) but they have cut down on that due to idots tearing up(shooting up) their equipment and liability issues..I have since sold my ATV..I'll probably get a new Grizzly after I finish college.

I've been to the Badlands a few times. It offers a good variety of terrain to ride on, from the pea gravel "dunes" to tight muddy trails. Defiantly worth a trip if you have never been there.
Redbird reopens on April 1st.

Redbird reopens on April 1st. You going? I've actually never been to redbird, but I would like to go one of these days. Whether it be on my atv or in my truck. I've heard they have some nice wide trails that are very accommodating to full size trucks, and some mudholes that will swallow you hole.
