You're very lucky to walk away from that one. I'm sure a bruise or two will show up tomarrow. I used to do the ramp thing and it was a pain, especially in the dark. Had some close calls as well. I bought a new 5x8 utility trailer for $500 and never been happier.

Wow! Its a good thing you are alright. A trailer is safer and something you might find helpful for multiple tasks.

I believe he's posted a pic recently where he was pulling a trailer....
That sucks that they broke while you were loading. Never had one roll onto me, but I've rolled one while messing around before. Ouch. Let us know how slow you're moving in the morning!

I bought the ramps new, less than two years ago thru moose utility and had never had a problem. I have a trailer and that is what I will be using from here on out. It was just quicker to ramp the atv in and out of the truck as opposed to hooking up the trailer and loading up the atv on it. I guess sometimes quicker isnt always better, I have a friend who uses one piece ramps and if I ever decide to use ramps they will not be the two piece kind. Markt, if you are using the two piece please be careful, there was no warning these things were about to go, it just snapped. I will take some pics later today close up of where the ramps failed and post em on here. The way it came down on me and pinned me I am lucky I was able to walk away with just a few bumps and cuts and I am sore this morning, but the atv is loaded on the trailer and hooked to my pickup, That Big Buck I have been seeing since early bow season is out there and I am hoping he comes by my stand this morning in the creekbottom.
