What does a lack of a new state record have to do with OBR?

I love the OBR I've seen quite a few bucks this year and 2 big'uns Ive never seen so many, I hunt public ground and that is saying alot. As far as I'm conserned no new state record is a good thing I belive a state record would definatly(sp) increase hunting presure accrosed the state. JMHO

Don't know about a record but one of our employee's told me his cousin shot a 17 pointer yesterday afternoon; if anything comes of it I'll try and get pictures. It's hard to know what to believe anymore.

If it will make you feel better I can start a rumor.
I heard my secretaries, husbands, cousins, aunts veterinarian killed the 30 point buck. Should score around 414 1/8, before the 60 day drying period of course.
Rumor has is it was killed while waiting on a red light at 38th and Meridian in downtown Indy.

Now that it looks like the OBR will be extended, there isn't any need for OBR supporters to start rumors of state record deer.
