Shot him Sat. Morning in Sebree KY. He is without a doubt the Ugliest buck i've ever killed. Notice from the pics how his right side is deformed. His right base has grown right down on his eyeball. It had to be painfull. I suppose he damaged it during the velvet, i dunno. Although his rack is my largest yet, their is no way i could get him mounted and put into my living room! One ugly guy in their is enough! ;D

I'd be proud. He'd be a good candidate for a european skull mount.
I think I'd skin the head out anyway. looking closely at the pics,I'd say the deer could never grow a normal rack. The base of the funky antler seems down and to the right. I bet the base itself was permanently damaged or deformed.

I agree...skin out the skull and take a look...probably a DEFINITE erou mount candidate, would be a cool conversation piece. Congrats...fine buck there!

I'd definately at least Euro mount him..... he's very unique, not "ugly" at all.... That's not a cut throat is it??? I see blood there in the throat patch....

I'd definately at least Euro mount him..... he's very unique, not "ugly" at all.... That's not a cut throat is it??? I see blood there in the throat patch.... Actually he was heading dead away from me at about 150 yards, he was standing in a set a side field and the weeds were chest high in some areas. It was either take the shot or let him walk. I rested the 300 mag across my stand, and felt more than comfortable with my shooting ability with this gun, and i took the shoot, aiming for the neck. The bullet exited right under his white patch on his neck. He dropped like a sack of taters. The shot broke his neck and blew apart his juggular. He was dead before i heard the gun go off. I kept his head, i've got it hanging from the tree outside until i figure out how i'm gonna to the European mount thingy. Thanks, Lug
