A mushroom site I monitor says they have been found in Tennessee. Get those shroon sticks tuned up.....

Hopefully better than last year. I found 450 last year. They year before that I sold over 20 pounds and dried out enough to last me for a year.

2006 was a great year for me around here. 2005 we went to Minnesota. We found several thousand up there in a couple days. 2007 was bad everywhere. Praying for a good season this year.

would this weekend be a good time to start looking for black morels?
plenty of moisture for sure and just now starting to get some sunshine and warmth on sat and sun?

On Morels.com some guys in the SW part of the state are finding 1 or 2
