I finally got my Boar rug from 2 years ago. This was a 225 pound Russian. It was taken back east with my 7mm RUM. From nose tip to vent is 60" My wife is really impressed with this one ;D

Looks good.
I don't think I've ever seen a boar rug before.
He was a big one.
Good eating?

Darn you! I had pretty well made up my mind that I wasn't going to get a hog mounted if I get a big one in Texas and you just had to go and post those pictures to change my mind. ;D
That is an awesome mount and I too have never seen a boar skin rug before.

That is cool. Really looks nice there against the hardwood floor and the stone hearth.

I've only recently seen them start making the rugs in the past few years. I ate every bit of this guy. Save the loins and the rest in ground sausage which is outstanding.

Looks really good! What state did you get him in? My wife had said no way to mounting a boars head on the wall but I think she would go for something like that.

I like it!
I had a shoulder mount done on a big Russian I shot. Might have to go the rug route next time.
Sweet piece of taxi work!
