That is $10 to apply, $300 for a tag if you are drawn, which is still pretty cheap compared to elk tags elsewhere.

For sure. This year will be my second application for Ky and fourth for Pa. Pa is giving points to those applying and not selected. I may never get drawn but at least I increase my odds every year.

Supposedly they are going to double the number every year until they reach 1,500.
I think a point system is in order too.
Maybe make it a once in a lifetime draw too.

Sounds like the elk reintroduction program is off to a good start. Hopefully the locals will not poach them out like they did in previous efforts.
