My wife bought me a hunting trip to Alaska for Christmas last year and I was able to take a big blackie!! He squared out at 6'5" and was 420 lbs not the biggest in the woods but a big trophy for me!! If I knew how to post a pic I would!! Mark T

Congrats ! 6'+ & 400#+ Is a big black bear anywhere you go. You hear lots of stories about big black bears, but the fact is 200 - 250 lbs is the norm. You got a whopper.

Like Steiny says: 200-250 lbs. is a good size normal Blackie. You done real good. You dont want to hear what mine was this year. Your second picture shows the size better for sure.
