How do you guys cook the squirrel you harvest ?

my favorite is
salt and pepper, roll in flour, quick brown in a cast iron skillet or dutch oven, put all pieces in the skillet with 1/4 cup of your favorite liquid, cover and bake at 350 deg for 1 1 /2 hrs or so until its fall off the bone done. then eat as much as you can. mike

Fried squirrel , squirrel stew , squirrel gumbo , squirrel a la king , squirrel kabobs ... Pretty much any recipe for chicken can be adapted to squirrels , you just need more of them .

I make a mean squirrel pot pie. Just use chicken gravy, mixed veggies and pie crust with your pre cooked, shhreded squirrel.

Squirrel BBQ is also very tasty! Just use the same precooked shredded squirrel and BBQ sauce of choice. A great crock pot recipe.
