30-34 degree water is my favorite for cats. We have a place that we fish right after Ice-out that is so good that we only fish it for three or four days and then we leave it alone until next year. I really like the pic of the fish with the ice on it.

We were actually fishing for walleye. I was throwing a white curly-tail. These cats were aggressive. They were hitting the white jigs. We caught 10 that day. We released the three big ones and cooked the others up.
