Love em, just no pics. Mainly wade fish and don't keep the camera handy then. Minimal gear at best.

I wade sugar creek and sections of otter creek every year for smallies....... I love it.... best form of fishing in my opinion... like duff though I don't carry a camera.... I carry only the essentials.

When I fish I just hope to catch something and usually don't care what takes the bait while it's in the water

I go to Lake St. Clair every year around June 1st. I've done the remote fly-in trips to Canada, been to Minnesota but this lake is phenominal. My arm aches after a day of fishing up there. Me and the boys boated 200 smallies in 18 hours of fishing. 90% of those were all in 3 to 5 pound range with a few to 6 pounds.

Hey Hoosier Hunter - I go to St. Clair every year also. You are right, that lake is AWESOME! Where do you fish there? We usually launch at Selfridge and fish mostly in Anchor Bay.

Sugar Creek's my favorite too and like the others said, a camera just gets in the way there.

Usually just south of Metro at Crocker. I've been up by Selfridge but usually don't need to run that far. Has to be one of the top 5 smallie lakes in the US.
