Some mistakes in the phone messages,, cause they are not even letting any pass the ladder in SB except on weekends.. Still no big surge in SB yet,, only stragglers,, but the weather is gonna change here tomorrow... I went to Trail Creek on Sun and saw nothing moving there as well.. I'm not saying we have no fish in yet,, but if yer watin for the peak,, wait another week or 2,, its not time yet ;D ;D ;D
And thats the pigeon report,, its still Sept

If anyone has any tips or pointers i'm all ears. I don't have the first clue when it comes to that type of fishing and the few guys I know that have fished the run before always bail out when it's time to go.

Best place for a new guy to start is at Trail Creek in Michigan City... Its small water with TONS of fish.. You can see how they relate to currents and structure.... Try drifting flies or spawn sacs in the holes.. Remember light,, light,, light..... Its finese fishing ,,, but once you get one hooked,, there is no more finese,, its all BATTLE ROYAL

Was at Trail Creek this morning... Saw about 2 dozen fish,, enough to work with,, not peak by far,, but there is fish in there.. 90's again this week forecast,, so they wont get packed yet,, but there is fish in the creek...... I went 0-2 this morning

Pigeon, any fish recently. I am kinda tagged out on deer so I might have to give it a try if any fish are in the Joe

All I see is ducks in the water,,, but I would say there should be some fish around... Last couple weekends Twin Branch was packed full of fisherman well before sun-rise

I'm ready but it will be March before I make a trip up. Only been back in IN for a year and I sure do miss living close to Crome.
