I met Greylag and Isis for breakfast ... they had been taken a morning stand , saw a spike buck , doe and fawns but no shots .... they picked up a limit of Pheasants with the dogs and then we met for breakfast ... I picked up 2 cock birds after breakfast , then spent some time scouting farm to farm .... doing some light spar rattling to see what was around ... On the last farm I was at I did a quick set up ground blind in a fence row ... a brief round of light spar rattling and a fork horn buck came in ... he passed by my left at 11 yards , then crossed in front of me and quartered away at 20 - 25 yards into the cover ... no big boys showed up yet . I did see some turkeys and a nice doe that came out under an apple tree I scouted .... I'm going to try to take her in the morning with my climber and my Exocet 200 . Here are the pictures of the turkeys and the fork horn ... He had no idea I was there ... when the wind is right , " all is good " Well off to bed , and back at it in the a.m. , hope to fill my WMU80 doe tag tomorrow morning ...
