And I've got a hacking chest cold.....I ate cough drops on the stand like candy yesterday evening. Where did I put my Cough Silencer? Rain this am, so I did not attempt to go out and get walking pneumonia. Hopefully all will be better tomorrow. There is a Vanderburgh county and KY buck with my name on them... Maybe a Harmonie park one too. .

Tomorrow afternoon .... all day Saturday and all day Sunday. Mornings next week and then full time from Saturday the 11th until gun season starts.
Good lord that will be some hours in a tree. If I dont kill a buck by then I will be to burned out to go gun hunting.
I hate this time change thing. I have lived in Knox County since I was 7 so I have never really experienced this ... I have to get out of bed at 3:30am to be in my tree 1/2 hour before light.

I had to dodge a doe crossing the road this morning as I was headed to work , I'm pretty sure she had a "trailer" close behind .

I'll try to get out tomorrow night (explained to my wife on Sunday that the deer weren't going to be moving much during the day last weekend, but it would be picking up SOON), gotta go to the arrow shop after picking up a check on Thursday, check sight-in Friday night, out Saturday morning and maybe evening at home, then I'll be at my parents place all day Sunday and Monday! *If* I'm lucky enough to get a shot at a buck at my parents, I'll still have another buck tag that can be filled, as my parents are in an UZ. Unless it's huge here at my place, I'll take a doe first.

The best I can do this week is Saturday morning and if I am really lucky, Sunday as well.

I tried to hunt this morning but after the drizzle turned into a half hour monsoon I am back in the warm dry house and getting ready to climb into the nice warm bed. YUCK
