Well I took my wife and daughter out fishing yesterday..... It was quite a time the wife sat on a blanket the whole time and read and my 4 year proceded to teach me how to fish. She must have caught 15 Bluegill on that little Dora pole. Between baiting her hook and casting her out (let her try herlsef last year and she threw her pole in off the boat)and cleaning the moss off the worm and taking her fish off ect..... I got a couple of casts in and caught a little 1.5 lb bass. All in all it was a great time .... now today i am going back with out the ladies but with the boat... about time to fill up that freezer with some fillets.

Now that is what I call QUALITY TIME.
Something both of you will look back on and remember.
My congratulations to her on her catch.

AINT IT GREAT!!!! I've got 12 neeces and nephews and I love taking them fishing. Just not to many at once. I bought 6 cane poles, and they love them. I'd rather they caught fish insted of foolin' with a rod and reel.

After constant hounding by my daughter she has been upgraded from her Scooby-Doo pole to a new spinning outfit. She has been practicing her casting the last two days and has everything down pat. She's counting the days until the trout opener.

I remember fishing with my dad when I was a little kid--I never had a Nora or Snoopy rod, he just let me use his big rod and reel, which made me feel very important. He cast for me at first, but soon thereafter let me cast when I was old enough not to throw the thing in the water. It was certainly quality time that I will never forget, and that I hope to have with my own children (and husband!) someday. This is probably one of the reasons I still enjoy fishing today.

Sounds like someone is making excuses as to why he got worked by his daughter ;D ;D ;D ;D
