Hi all, I am the guy that took the deer, my feet are still off the ground. Thanks much for all the praise, he is the biggest I have ever taken, we are going to green score him on Sunday. The one I took last week has been roughed at 115 which is a nice animal as well, I took him off the ground at 10 yards in a spot and stock. Anyway I will send you the link to the magazine when it is out and update you along the way. Some quick rough measers we took are 22" wide, +-7" brow tines, first tines after brows were 10.5" and +- 11.5", that's all we did.
Again thanks for the nice words, working on #3. ;D ;D

WW, Is that 8 pointer that Woodmaster took an Illinois or Indiana buck? If that was several years ago, surely that was not before the OBR? J/K

But it was probably just a freak happening as everyone knows we didn't have any trophy deer before the OBR. Then again, maybe it is a KY deer that migrated North?

A bit of an update, the green score came out at 151 5/8" gross :oand the net is 147 5/8, ;Dthe hanging weight (meat and bone) was 216lbs, just a monster. The scorer is confident the score will remain at 147 5/8" as the deduction points are just scorable and should shrink enough. Anyway regardles of the score it's one heck of a deer.

I love the kicker point! if it had one to match on the other side that would be icing on the cake, but i don't think I'd pass this guy up!
