How you ever had one of the days you should have just stayed home? Well i did tonight. Jump two bedded does going in 100 yards from where i planned on put up my climber. Got up the tree 25 foot and dropped my rattle bag. wind was suppose to change and didn't, blew my scent down the deer trail. squirrels were all over me and made so much noise you couldn't hear hardly anything. finally just before dark a small button buck came along. he didn't look much bigger than the squirrels. i knew i should have stayed home.....h.h.

Zero deer sighted tonight..thought it would have been productive with the rain coming, out in the morning if it isn't raining too hard.... solohunter

But, yet, you still know that an awful time hunting is better than a "good" time doing anything else..........

planed on get out Sunday but the looks of the radar might as well stay in bed and catch up on some sleep, The deer were moving tonight at dark seems they also know nasty weather is comming 2. Shinded a cut bean field that had two small bucks in it and several doe's, also a cut hay field had several deer in it as well.

Don't feel like the Lone Stranger. You never know when the bad start of a hunt may turn into filled tag. I have had hunts start out so bad I just wanted to get down & go back to the truck. Heck! It would'nt be hunting if everything went right all of the time.
