Got one for Christmas last year, I don't know why I didn't get one years ago! My wife had always complained about my boots smelling, usually 2-3 times per week (or more!), but since I started using the boot dryer, I can't recall her complaining about it. Get rid of the moisture, and the bacteria has nothing to grow in. Plus my boots are nice and warm when I put them on. Didn't think I would like that in the summer time, but it's actually a good feeling. If you wear boots on a daily basis like I do, the ~$30 you will spend on one of these boot dryers is well worth it!

danf.... hit the nail on the head. Mine was a gift from the mother-in -law, and when I first got it, I thought what is this, and it probably won't work. Turned out to be a real useful tool. I especially like it when I will be hunting several days in a row when it is hot. Boots get wet inside with sweat and the dryer makes for dry- blister free- boots.

Yep, especially this time of year when my boots are wet all the way through from about 9 am on from the dewy grass. Used to be that they didn't dry out overnight. Now they are dry and warm.
Fall/winter/spring when the stove is going it wasn't a problem, but the other 5-6 months of the year, that was a different story! Even now when the stove is going I'll still use the boot dryer, unless I've just applied mink oil. Then they get set next to the stove.

I like to have two pairs of boots, I'll have one on and the other on the peet when I take a week off for hunting I've always got a dry pair even if they get soaked all the way through. I also recomend the chest wader extensions, man it's nice to know that when you get a pair wo waders on that they are gonna be dry!
