I found these on e bay. The seller really hyped them up. Anybody have these on their bow ?.........................Woody . ;D I remember them. I haven't seen one in 15 or more years. They were supposed to be "range finding" pin sight. The average body of a deer is supposed to fill out that little circle at whatever range he was at. They didn't work all that well as deer are different sizes, don't always stand at a broadside and there was no actual 'pin' to aim at a spot on the deer. Is he selling this as something new and different? Give me the url so I can go take a look. Thanks.

As pictured, those appear to be for a left hand bow. Their use is marginal. As others pointed out, they depend on deer being a certain size. I believe elevation angles would add another variable.

No woody hes not selling these as new. I was kinda joking about if people were using these but thought you would probably remember these. I actually saved this pic from a couple weeks ago so the auction has probably ended. There were zero bids on this sight at the time............. This is the sellers description.
I have up for bid a Bow Hunting Sight. It looks to be in good shape. This mounts on the side of your bow, has 4 pins or round rings that you set up for own yardage. There is a Allen wrench for moving the sight pins. I don't know the make but it would do the trick for a hunter that wants to zero in on that kill. Just put the ring on the spot and release. Happy Bidding

There were other sights similar that used the same principle and they didn't work to good either. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I had not seen that "sight" in a long, long time. Someone should try and collect all the obsolete archery equipment out there. They had better have a big pole barn to put it all in though. .

Looks like they were made out of paperclips lol I agree Chico. I think that may have been solid marketing at the time, but now we have fibers and laser rangefinders and such. I hope archery sites don't change that much in the next 20 years.
