Put it to vote by the hunters themself. By purchasing a deer license is your key that will allow you to cast your vote. Lifetime license holders will give their license number that are issued on their card to be eligible to vote. All over the counter license sales will use the number issued on that license. Mail or call your vote in by giving your name and license number. Have a 1-800 telephone line set up by the IDNR. Call or mail your vote in by giving your name and license number. Cast your vote, YES or NO I am in favor of a permanent one buck bag limit in Indiana. You must cast you vote before Jan. 1,2007. You get to cast one vote. Once you give your name and cast your vote your name will be recorded and then that name ineligble to vote again. Have a vote tally, and the majority rule wins. It's to late to do it this year, but it's somthing to think about next year. Majority rules, ain't that how it's done in America?

No thanks , the majority isn't always right . I'd rather trust the people that we pay to manage the herd to make the right choices for the right reasons . They've done just fine .

How about letting the "majority" (OBR supporters) take just one high scoring mature buck & the rest of us "minority" take two bucks of our choice.

whiteoak,,,,,,majority rule isn't the way its done in America,,,,we live in a republic, we elect representatives to vote for us. I suggest to anyone that feels compelled to kill more than one buck per year, to go out and hunt other states or provinces to get that second or third buck. Indiana will allow you shoot more deer than one can possibly use or afford to shoot. I cannot understand what is the preoccupation with shooting more than one buck per year! Illinois and Ohio have bigger bucks than we do because they let more of them live longer and grow longer. Indiana could be and should be the home of the next world record whitetail(s), typical and non-typical alike.

The OBR don't make much sence because the other changes have not been made.
Under a OBR we need
More hunting opportunity
and
a new license structure
The license structure is a BIGGIE.....why sell a buck tag that is only good for three weekends?....don't that promote UN-SELECTIVNESS?.....fill it so I don't have to spend another 24.00+++
IF......the OBR was done right, we might have seen a change!
