lol and now I am a statistic..... I will be honest a big portion of the reason I went ahead and bought a new hand gun (that my wife can handle) is because int he last 2 weeks we have had 3 gun shot wounds and 2 stabbings come in to surgery... and another gun shot wound that went straight to ICU (wasn't anything surgically we could do for him at the time)

Only you can protect yourself from carnage. I'd rather "have a gun and not need it" as opposed to "need a gun and not have it".

That is why I am putting a handgun and carry permit on the top of my list now.

oneshot that is about what I told my wife... when I told her I bought a new handgun... she asked me if I was planning on shooting someone.... my answer was I hope I never have to use it on anything other than targets....

I think they are around a hundred bucks or just north of a hundred if you don't currently have one. I can renew mine in June and will be getting my lifetime.

I believe the total is $125 for the lifetime if you don't currently have one.

The house in OK passed a law allowing some CCW holders to carry concealed on campus. Not sure if it has passed the Senate yet.
A similar law has been proposed in AZ.
If we put enough pressure on them, even state legislatures might eventually understand that their facilities would be safer if the sane folks were allowed to be armed, too, rather than reserving that privilege for the homicidal maniacs who don't care about regulatory attempts at restricting the presence of arms on campus.

you can't get the lifetime until your current license is within six months of expiration (if you have a current license). I think it was around $85 if you have a license already. I made a wasted trip to the lockup, I have to wait another year!
