Well the wife is not happy with me.... I have gone on a spending spree this week..... Bought a new bow for the kid I taught to shoot last summer.... then today I walked in to Gander Mountain and bought a range finder...... then since I have been home I bought some stuff from Bass Pro Shops..... and then a set of Bino's from Sportmans guide.....
Guess on my way home from work tomorrow I should buy her some flowers or something.... seeing as how I am spending money like they are giving it away.... might help to calm the waters at home.

Fine purchases indeed. Hey the bow was the big purchase and that was for someone else.......you're helping a child.............just being generous..........yeah that's the ticket.

Oh, you could tell her with all the concern around with the economy you were jusr trying to do your part to help. Buy her something too like you said and show how patriotic an american you really are.

As Roland Martin would say. SON!! Run do not walk to the nearest flower shop, two (2) Dozen Long Stem Reds, then on to the Jewelery store (not KMart) and a pair of nice diamond earing's, (1/8 carat). Actually sounds lot like what I have a tendency to do. Stock up. Upgrade.

I'm buying too, only I'm buying stuff that would most likely cost me a LOT more if the demoncraps win too many offices this go round.

We don't do Valentines day.... with Christmas and our anniversary and birthdays being so close to V-day we just skip the gifts and have a nice sit down dinner (that I cook) as a family. As far as her buying stuff.... she gets far more than I do>>>. i don't buy stuff very often but when I do it is expensive.

I'm right there with you SleazE. With 2 kids, 1 income we don't do gifts for our birthdays, christmas, Vday or any of them. If we want something we plan for it and get it. I'd rather do it that way then have her or I waste time and money on something not needed/wanted.
Flowers get me out of alot of binds though!!!

A man needs his own bank account for stuff like that so the little lady never has a clue what gets spent on important items such as hunting gear.
