I ran a thorn through on of my "Muck Boots" and now it leaks. Any suggestions on the best way to repair it? Thanks! Yep.. I did the same thing on a pair of LaCrosse Burleys only it was a barbed wire fence. Go to AutoZone and get an inner tube repair kit and patch it. Looks a little funny, but who cares as long as thay don't leak?

I bought a tube of this stuff but have not used it yet, called shoe goo, claims to fix problems such as yours. If you try it let us know how it worked.

Give it a shot of silicone caulk, make sure to squirt it through from the outside and flatten a cloth patch into the silicone on the inside. The repair will be watertight and permanent.

Gorilla Glue is the best for small punctures.

No to hijack the thread but how in the world do you guys get that many years out of a pair of boots ! Especially a pair of rubber boots. Mine usually crack and split in the front or all around the ankle area.

A drop or two of Goat Tuff glue made air-tight repairs on my Sceery inflatable turkey decoys after a young tom came by and put a whippin' on the jake decoy and punctured both hen decoys in the side while wooing them. The dekes have been used and crammed back in their carrying bag deflated three or four times since, and the repairs still seem to hold air. One of them does have avery slow leak that I haven't found yet, but even that one would keep water out if it were a boot.
I realize that's a different application, but the stiffness and sponginess of the material is similar and I suspect the results would be, too. Probably any of the cyanoacrylate based glues would do as well; Crazy Glue, Loctite Super Glue, etc.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the replies. I had some Gorilla Glue at home, so I gave that a try and it worked!
Thanks Again! Robert
