Ted Nugent Goes Double GoldLas Vegas, NV – It’s been another hit season for Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild, big winners in not just one, but two categories at 8th Annual Golden Moose Awards. For the fourth time, Ted & Shemane Nugent were voted Fan Favorite Hunting Series, and Fan Favorite Hosts in a celebration held by Outdoor Channel during the 2008 Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show Shot in Las Vegas. The double victory is all the more impressive when you consider the competition. “With our commitment to best-in-class programming, the competition is getting stiffer and stiffer each year,” stated Lloyd Bryan Adams, Outdoor Channel Executive Producer. More than 2,500 industry leaders and media personalities went gonzo when, moments after accepting his second award, Nuge strapped on a guitar, and led his band in a powerhouse set that brought down house at—where else—The Hard Rock. Nuge closed the evening with his beloved Fred Bear, an homage to the late, great hunting hero. "The Nugent family could not be more proud to have won what everyone knows to be the most important television awards of all--The People's Choice awards! We are genuinely moved to have such a heart and soul connection with America's best. Godbless them all," said Nugent. Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild can be seen Tuesdays at 1:30pm & 7:30pm, and on Sundays at 12:0am on Outdoor Channel.

NO BASHING HERE,OK,I kind of like Ted,Think overall he has done a lot of good for hunting! Even if he is sort of out there. He has a few of my personal philosophies, like not apologizing to any one for his love of hunting.

I like some of his music and most of his beliefs. I will leave it at that.

Ted's ideas and mine are a lot a like. Ted's got that "kiss my _ss" attitude if you don't like what I do and never buckles under to anti-hunting in any way or worries about being politically correct. h.h..

He actually has a song titled just that. Haven't actually watched his show. We just got a dish a couple weeks ago and the Outdoor Channel is not one we currently get. I have been known to blast "Fred Bear" a time or two, especially as October 1 gets close. ;D ;D ;D

Good for Uncle Ted. Love the Fred Bear song / video. A wild man for sure, but I am glad he is on our side when he steps up to the plate on gun & hunting issues.

I find the show pretty well unwatchable. Me too, if I hear him rant about his "blood brothers", "alpha male", or "spirit" crap one more time I may puke. I don't care for his stance on high fence either.
