Did anyone else notice that Obama had an ad banner on this site? Would not think his core group would be a bunch of hunters from a republican state.

Obama / Google = 10 with 100 zeros behind it. Pretty close to his support on HI.

Why would a pro hunting site accept money for an ad from a rabid anti-gun, anti hunting, pro animal terriorist presidential candidate?

I believe (correct me Woody if i am wrong) that we have no control over what ads are placed att he top of the page..... that is part of what keeps this website free..... Obama is not a sponsor of this site.... but Google is.

I believe (correct me Woody if i am wrong) that we have no control over what ads are placed att he top of the page..... that is part of what keeps this website free..... Obama is not a sponsor of this site.... but Google is. The only control that we have over ads is to pay Pro-Boards XX amount of dollars to get an ad free board. I say XX amount of dollars as that will vary on the amount of members and traffic.. A board the size of ours would be substantial. I don't have the money to do that so in the meantime my best suggestion is to just ignore the ads if we aren't buying what they are sellling. My guess would be that not many on here are buying Obama. This ad is probably running on all Pro-boards boards. I also look for his ad to quit by tomorrow as the primaries wil be over for the most part. We might get hit again in the general election.

If we can use the ads to make fun of his blatant stupidity (i.e. wasting good electrons running his campaign ads on a right-wing majority board serving hunters and outdoorsmen), then it makes it worth it, doesn't it? ;D
And all of the pages on which the ad pops up do not contain any slightest mention of him, his contenders, the president, or the campaign...so I'm not sure that it's a keyword sensor bringing them up on Google's part. Maybe Osama ought to visit more states himself rather than wasting money on Google ads that are going to target the wrong crowd...

Looks like his ad is gone this morning..
Interesting races.. No telling how it a will all end up.
So far (except for Huckabee) it is none of the above for me.

Huckabee is probably not going to make the cut..... and that is to bad because he is a sportsman's candidate....

I see no one in the race that has the capabilities needed to hold the office. If Obama were to take office, he'd be like a deer in the headlights. Hillary will have a four year party, handcuff private enterprise, gut the military and sing kumbaya in the rose garden with Bin Laden. McCain has a short temper and will abandon his principles and allies (what are they and who are they?) at the drop of a hat in the name of political expediency, which won't go over any better with the worlds leaders than it has with fellow Republicans. It looks like a dry spell for conservatism in this country, I'm guessing a short one, about four years. Remember, it took a Jimmy Carter to get us a Ronald Reagan.

Now I've seen a McCain ad pop up. Can Hillary be far behind? Isn't it nice that these candidates value the Hunting-Indiana.com vote so much?
