4:50am...... MAYBE 1/2 - 3/4" here in Hamilton County. I'm not ready to lynch the weather people, I watched the radar all night and all that moisture coming up from the Gulf just seemed to disolve and part as it worked around Central Indiana. Not sure how the rest of you fared though. Man, my son is gonna be ticked when he gets up and finds out that school is NOT canceled. LOL.

0608 and we've got about 4". Looks like maybe half/hour still coming down yet. Just broke my "icepolisher" so now I'm out in a plow for an hour. "Let's all be careful out there" ....anybody remember where that came from?

Must be nice, being a Weather Forecaster.......Get paid for being wrong! What a crock!! My Brother said it wasn't going to be bad at all and he was right!! We just received .06" of rain + a dusting of slopy snow.

Well, last night they upped it to 10-13" and we maybe got 3 - 4" and suppose to get another 1-2" today. A far cry from 10-13".
Over the years heres a formula Ive came up with thats pretty close to how much snow you will exactly get. Take the highest number of predicted inches and divided it by half and then subtract 1". Like last nights forecast 13 divided by 1/2 = 6 - 1 = 5" total. As you see thats a lot closer to the actual 3 - 4" we got. h.h.

It's a government ploy used much like the promise of a tax refund. Give news of weather events that might keep you in your house for a few hours and watch the bread and milk vanish from store shelves. Immediate boost to the local economy...I bet everyone of the AMS forcasters has taken this pledge and is actually on gov't payroll.

1" inch of snow here. rented $2200 in equipment for my properties, and didn't use any of it, weatherman SUCK! They were calling for 6+ inches even as late as 11:25pm last night! Did run 6 plow trucks vs. normal 35+..........sucks! But none of the 9 operators ran equipment! Also had my personal truck (plow truck) and 2008 Subranban broken into.....nothing stolen put the cigeratee ash tray that I used to hold change. Hello Feb. I hope you end soon or at least my luck changes !
