Just think! We are all going to be charter fanclub members when the networks kick Dr. Phil to the curb to make room for our very own DOC.

Not a name "change"...just a name "tweak"! ;D Something felt slightly wrong about referring to myself as "doc" or "doctor" because I'm not one (although I plan to be, as you know)...and I thought "greyhound" was cute, so there you have it. Any way you slice it, it's just plain 'ol me... LOL! I actually like a lot of what Dr. Phil is about (except his occasional ethical transgressions), although what he does on TV is not therapy (nor is it meant to be). Once I had a dental hygienist who, in an effort to make small talk, asked me what I did. I told her, and she looked at me quizzically and totally seriously and said, "So you're going to have your own TV show?" She was in for a surprise when she learned that Dr. Phil is the only clinical psychologist with his own TV show... DBD--you're like a shot of self-esteem! Thanks again! You rock! Fine by me...and it might be entertaining to read the newbies trying to figure out who the heck "doc" is...

LOL--you don't know how ironic that is, because I "strongly disliked" (yeah--let's put it that way) my required psychoanalytic classes and never work from that approach... It's what we do best! (If it was obvious to people, they wouldn't be in therapy to figure it out...) As much fun as that would be, the ethics board would hand my *** to me on a platter if that happened... You can talk about your momma with a psychoanalyst...and feelings can be rather fun to discuss! Howdy do! Awww...that was cute! ;D
