COMMENTS: Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world.
We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What happened?

A hundred years ago the entitlement mentality didn't exist. Explain to me why someone on "food stamps" is wearing Nike Brand Sweats and trying to buy Haagen-Das Ice Cream at CVS with the Hoosier Card.

LOL I would not go so far as to say it is time for another tea party.... that was done simply because we were paying taxes and our interests were not being represented in England.....
That is not the case today... we elect our officials and then deal with the consequences (as a nation) of our misjudgment of these peoples character.
I agree that something needs to be done about our people being grossly over taxed on a daily basis... Make sure you register and vote for individuals that will represent our interests as American citizens..... Stay informed on the tax issues.... write letters to your congressman and tell them your concerns.... While the voice of one person can not change the world.... we have seen in the past that the voice of one special interest group has the power to do just that.
