Hey Guys and Gals,
How many of you would be interested in a wild game feed and home coming at Atterbury sometime in March? Each member would bring a wild game or covered dish.
1. How many would attend and what date would be the best?
2. Do we want to shoot again or just have a dinner and some inside activities? What kind of activities?
3. Lets hear some ideas. h.h.

I'm up for it. I have nothing going on this time of year so any dates O.K. by me. Shooting is always a good idea.

Depends on when for sure. That's getting into the beginning part of busy season for us. I know we've got at least one show that'll be a weekend. So count me as a "maybe".

Same here. Pretty sure we'll be visiting Detroit or enjoying a visit from our son on the second weekend, his birthday. That's also the IFAA indoor state archery championship, so if practice goes well between now and then, and that visit doesn't happen, I may be up at Kokomo trying my luck. Haven't been up there yet, but I've wanted to for a good while.
Sounds like fun, though. If it's any of the other weekends I'll try to make it. Freezer's still empty of game, but there are still some critters in season that might make an interesting "mystery meat stew" 8^). Or if nothing else, I have some wild blackberries in the freezer and I make a pretty decent old-fashioned blackberry cobbler (Bayou Bill's recipe).

What's you thinking on March, that's an iffy time of year on weather.

Most any time in March would probably work for me and Mbogo. Sounds like fun--if I can make it, I'm there! Please keep us posted on details.

What's you thinking on March, that's an iffy time of year on weather. We wanted to get it in before turkey season. We can do June again but we were getting into HOT then. We are open to suggestions....

The last one was a bit disorganized, but I'm up for another one.

Anytime in March is fine. Count me in! Wild game menu sounds great. Let's do some more shooting.

We could have a picnic in June too. We thought since nothing much is usually happening in March that might be a good time of the year to have a feed and get together. Nothing is set in stone so lets hear your ideas. h.h.

I'd probably shoot on the rifle/pistol range since I didn't get to last year.

March is when a lot of schools, universities have their spring breaks so probably no matter when you schedule it then you will probably hit one of them. My Scouts have some things planned for Mar but April through the first week of June is out for me. Pick a date and whoever can come will be there.

Any time in March or early April will work for me.
A note on shooting, I have heard that the fees for the rifle/pistol range have risen substantially since last year. I'm not sure if the fees for the shotgun range have as well.

Count me in, missed that last one so I am looking forward to it. I'll have to do a cover dish since this season was my worst.

I'm not sure if the fees for the shotgun range have as well. Now the price for the range is $7.50 an hour(minimum of two hours.) That is a big jump from last year. They say it is to pay for the damages caused by shooters.
