I wish they would add a traditional muzzleloader seson antlerless only after the regular muzzleloader season. It would be sidelock or flintlock only with patched round balls. Anybody else think this is a good idea?

Some states have a season like that. No scope, no 209 primers, no sabots, no pellets etc.

There is a large part of the Daniel Boone Natl Park in Ky that is primitive weapon only hunting. It's longbow and ML only it's called Pioneer Weapons Wildlife Area

I have a .45 Kentucky rifle that says I could get behind it . 8-)Considering the surplus of antlerless deer in this state it wouldn't hurt to have it come in a week before the firearm period , but that ain't gonna happen .

I really do not think it is cheating to knock down the doe population to help the carrying capacity of the land. What is worst several deer dying of starvation or the crossbow. I have artritis in my wrist really bad but still shoot the bow fingers or release but one of these days I will not be able to pull the bow string back. Steady
