I've got about 400 members and family pictures that I have in Camedia Master (the program that came with my camera) that I want to show at the Homecoming.
I can pull up a slide show in Camedia but it only gets about halfway through and then the PC screen goes to black with the Windows XP logo on it. If I click out of that the Camedia is back to square one and out of the slide show.
I'm thinking that the PC "sleep mode" is over riding the Camedia??
I would like the slide show to just keep playing over and over again.
Suggestions, please...
TIA.
WW

Not a guru on this Woody but try this go into your control panel, find display, go to screen saver, click on power, then check to see how long your setting is befor the screen powers off, if it is like 30 minutes, reset to extended time, 4-5 hours, click apply. Test and see what happens if this is incorrect then I will say I am sorry for bothering you now.

Sounds like your screen saver is the culprit; just set it to none before starting the program.

Woody,
Could be a couple of different things. Like what the guys above have said, make sure your screen saver is set well ahead of the time you think you will need to run the slide show. Another thing to check is the "power options" located in the control panel. Make sure your hard drive isn't set to turn off and check to make sure that system stand by is set several hours out too or even set to "never". I run all of my PC's as "never" for all of the options.

I see "TIA" and think "transient ischemic attack"...is that bad?? Please speak in English on this board.. When you're on a neuropsychology assessment practicum, you forget how to speak English sometimes... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transient_ischemic_attackAnd Woody...your avatar is shapeshifting between that depressed looking clown and some cowboy dude!! ;D I have only been acquainted with the melancholic clown for a short time, but already I have taken a liking to him...

I know...I got a laugh out of that! I know what reaction I will get around here for saying this, but I actually have never seen a John Wayne movie...I will need to put that on my list of things to do! Everyone knows Bozo is the coolest clown ever...that's why Homey is so sad!! (Sorry...look how off-topic this thread has gotten in such a short time! At least we're not killing one another in here...ROFLMAO!)
