Last time i went it was the spring shoot and there weren't very many there. My friend goes a lot and he said the big shoot is the one to go. We walked down the line and I watched the bench guns shoot. One of them asked me if I wanted to try it but I declined. Didn't want to embarrass myself. Id like to buy some Swiss powder there but you have to be a member of NMLRA in order to purchase powder. h.h.

Bill..... Well Friendship is the home of the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association where they have two shoots each year one in June and the other in Sept.It quite an awesome spot even if you've been there for something like 45 years in row like myself, but I only live about 25 miles away to.Anyhow they have any kind of muzzle loader shooting that you may be intersted in from pistols to the larger rifles and they shoot anywhere from 10 yards out to 500 yards away on the rifle targets. There is the commerical row where all types of equipment can be bought, there is camping areas and then of course there's the flea market which is next to the shooting area...The whole thing is quite an awesome event!!!! Their web site is WWW.NMLRA.ORG

It is a blast down there for sure. I enjoy walking around at the little gun stands hoping to find some good buys on firearms. My best friends dad has a stand down there every year and sells a few guns. We deep fry a turkey and drink plenty of cold ones.
Gundude,
I came across a couple Parkers down there last year.

From Indianapolis, Indiana Take I-74 East to Greensburg, Indiana. Exit on Highway 421; take 421 South to Versailles, Indiana. Continue on 421 to State Road 129 South. Follow it to State Road 62 East, follow this through the town of Friendship and the Walter Cline Range will be located on your left.

Keep in mind folks... if it's a nice weekend it will be PACKED.
Go as early as you can. Traffic is bad sometimes getting into town. I've waited 1 hour to go the last couple of miles in past years.
That said. It's an awesome event. Some of the shooters are just incredible.
I've never seen too many "deals." But prices are usually ok. Stuff in the flea market is always fun to look at and sometimes you can pick up the odd item you were looking for.
I won't be there this year since I live in Northern Indiana now. It used to be a yearly trip for Dad and I when I lived at home still.
