"The only difference between men & boys is the price of their toys". So what toy would you "really" like to receive on Fathers Day???

I've pretty well exhausted my "toying" for the year. A Martin Cougar, a Model 7 in 260REM and converting my Savage to 35Whelen is going to have to do it; besides I need to concentrate on range time with the bow and the 260 before fall. As for anything: I'll go back to my non existant bolt gun in 454 with a 2-7 Leupold.

I'd like a new Harley, I'd settle for a new ladder stand for the woods.

I find it very hard to buy for most men--they typically go out and buy something when they want it, they don't really love getting clothes (unless they didn't have to shop for them or try them on in the store), they don't really appreciate home items unless they are power tools, and I don't know enough about their particular interests to go and buy a good-quality whatever-it-is-they-want-at-the-moment. Gift certificates can be difficult too, since they can seem like you didn't put any thought into the gift. I'm trying to figure out what I can get my dad--I'll probably just ask my mom what he wants/needs and get whatever it is she says. If you are a man who is difficult to buy for, please, for the love of all that is good and holy--save the women in your life some frustration and drop them some hints of exactly what you want! ;D

Most will settle for a $500 gift card for any of three places, depending on their habits: Sporting goods warehouse Home improvement warehouse Aftermarket car parts warehouse Sports, tools or cars, every man always wants something from one of these.

One free unlimited shopping day at Cabela's. That way I can get exactly what I want/need and there will be no returns.

A few hours of fishing on the river bank, can't afford what I really want anyways.

Having dated my boyfriend for many years I am quite aware of what he really wants (along with other men, I'm sure)... ;D Usually I just end up getting him a gift card, although he says he likes it when I put more thought into the gift, which is hard because he's so secretive about specifically what he wants sometimes outside of what he really wants...so thank you for laying it out there!

You are quite welcome. I was just trying to be 'helpfully informative' is all. . . . John, you're an animal!!!!! ;D ;D ;D Probably true in many regards. . . . . but I am house-trained!
