timesuniononline.com/ i guess the city of warsaw is planning again for a reduction hunt this fall,i might give it a go this year.but something urked me in this article ,one of the officials stated that bow hunting was a nessasary evil to reduce the herd,man,does that make me a evil person?now everybody that reads this is going to say everyone who bow hunts is evil.i wish guys would choose there words better.

That wasn't an official. That was Linda Byer, wildlife biologist for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Fish and Wildlife.
She should know better than make a statement like that.
Hopefully she was misquoted.
I'd hate to think one of our state's biologists thinks bowhunting is "evil".

Hope the location gets changed a little. I could have had a dandy 8 pt off my in-laws back porch 3 times...easy 100'' deer...
Nothing like hunting from a recliner...

In my opinion this is a statement that an anti would make. Demonizing the people that are major contributors to your salary is not something that I would recommend.

I see how it looks bad, but with it being a one liner, it is tough to see the context. It sounds to me that she is speaking to the anti's. Neccesary evil is a pretty standard term, maybe not the best one to use, but I don't think that is the message she was trying to convey. Just my .02
