The Indiana Branch of the Quality Deer Management Association is holding its second annual Food Plot Seminar and Field Day on Saturday, May 19, 2007. This years event will be held at the Stout Farm at 5478 Brick Church Road in Hagerstown, Indiana.
The events for the day will be the following: 9:30 - 10:00 Coffee and Donuts
10:00 - 11:00 Bob Ducharme, Regional Director for QDMA on the what, why and how's of food plots.
11:00 - 11:45 Jason Waterman, State Forester, District 15, East Central Indiana on tree plantings and timber management for wildlife
11:45 - 12:00 Tom James, inventor of the Firminator on warm season grasses and fawning areas.
Lunch will be provided
1:00 - 2:30 Field tours and planting demonstrations
Directions to the Stout Farm:
From Hagerstown, go west on SR 38 one mile to Brick Church Road, then south 1/2 mile.
From New Castle, go east on SR 38 approximately 10 miles to Brick Church Road, then south 1/2 mile
The farm is on the west side of the road just before the Nettle Creek Brick Church
