We (my son and I) went turkey hunting yesterday for the youth hunt, we heard two gobbles all morning! Then we fished the pond at the club and caught some REAL NICE (3/4 pounders) bluegill! Brought about a dozen home to clean. It was a beautiful day! On the way home my son says, "I don't think I want to turkey hunt tomorrow"....I say "do you feel ok?"
Josh says, "if I kill one I am done, and the season aint even started yet, what will I do next weekend when your hunting......lets just go fishing tomorrow"
So, we will be pulling out of here in about 45 minutes and heading for Monroe and seeing if we can get a mess of crappie!
Wish us luck!

lol.....the fishing at Monroe was..........................monroe....lol
I never catch any decent sized fish there......we did however catch about 100 or so small ones. We brought several dozen home to put in the retention pond accross the street. It was fun though!
We spent the whole weekend playing outdoors....it was a beautifull weekend to be outside!
