Hunting Indiana Homecoming at AtterburyIt appears we have a pretty good interest in a get together of Hunting Indiana members. huntingindiana.proboards52.com/index.cgi?board=campfire&action=display&thread=1171940303The date most that gave input on was June16th. huntingindiana.proboards52.com/index.cgi?board=campfire&action=display&thread=1175612507I’ll see if I can get us a shelter house for that date and check to see what comes with a shelter house. Now we need individuals/committees to head up each aspect on the get together. This will be a shared expense event. So please start volunteering. 1) Food 2) Paper plates, napkins, forks, knifes, spoons, etc. 3) Cooking 4) Beverages (non-alcoholic) 5) Rifle/pistol range (team contests?) 6) Skeet/trap (team contests?) 7) Archery range (team contests?) 8) Official photographer 9) Recognition of the 2007 Hunting-Indiana Turkey Contest winning team 10) Swap and buy table 11) Trophy picture sharing 12) Duck calling contest 13) Goose calling contest 14) Turkey calling contest Items 8 through 14 are merely suggestions that we can do if heer is enough interest… A few “rules”…. We decided back awhile ago that since we would be handling guns and bows that this would be a “dry” get together. No alcoholic beverages, please. No handling or shooting of guns or bows except at the ranges themselves. This has to be just a get together of members of this site and not an “officially sponsored” Hunting-Indiana event. The staff and myself cannot accept any responsibility for accidents or injuries to anyone that attends. I hope that you understand on that one. So, guys and gals – Lets Git – R –Done!!

Atterbury is located about 10 minutes south of Franklin, IN, and about 20 minutes north of Columbus, IN. It is about 1.5-2.0 miles west of U.S. 31. Hope this helps you. We at the H.I.T. Squad will take care of photos and maybe do some video as well. We could put together a little something to share. I look forward to it, should be a great time. Plus, I like that it's only about 15 minutes from my house!

That's my birthday; that makes it easy this year. I'll take care of number 2. Just give me a head count shorty beforehand. Is there an archery range there? Are family member invited?

Date and time sounds good to me. I could bring some hot dogs and burgers. Now as for Travis and his goose call well let me say it'll be the first time I ever heard it.
