It seems there are a lot of parallels in what these two men did. Both were fired for saying stupid things and both had been celebrities in there fields for many years. I don't want to compare who was more wrong as that debate could go on and on and I think we all know how wrong each was. It just seems like such a coincidence. Is there something in the air this year? Larry The LLLLLiver

This is part of the liberal slide this country is currently in. Everybody is entitled to some magic freedom from hearing anything bad. Celebrities that say something someone else is offended by have to go into rehab, like having an opinion is an addiction. This is what happens when no one thinks for themselves anymore and justs parrots whatever BS they hear on TV. We have been raising a big crop of sissies in this country and it's only gonna get worse.
What Imus said is stupid. Never should have said it. I can see how it would be offensive. He did apologize. Not good enough.... now we have to crucify him.
But Jesse Jackson can call New York "himeytown" and Al Sharpton can rail about Jews and falsely accuse a man of rape and never apologize. Hmmmmm.
What is burning me up is how silly everyone is acting. The Rutgers girls are emotionally damaged, They'll never be the same, blah blah blah.... What are they gonna do when they meet somebody that puts them down to their face? Run and hide? Kill themselves? What are they gonna do when they meet some aryan nations nutcase screaming epithets at them on the street? Go into counseling? Give me a break. Get over it. Send an insult back and move on.

I heard a black reporter say it best today on ESPN radio. He said what these girls accomplished this year will not be dimished by some old white talk radio host. They will have the same chances in the future they had before this incident. He also mentioned J. Jackson and Al Sharpton like to march into town and stir the pot when these things happen. After everyone is in a uproar they will pick their pockets and run. I couldn't agree more. These two will never be what MLK, Jackie Robinson were for black people.

Why don't black folks deer hunt? Who says they don't? Just because you have never seen a black person deer hunting, doesn't mean that they don't.

Why don't black folks deer hunt? Camby, What made you bring something like this up and where did you ever get that idea? Nevermind, you don't need to answer those questions. But I can assure you, that many black people deer hunt. When I was a kid in school, I had a friend who happened to be black. His father was also a successful bowhunter. He brought some pictures to school one day showing me the deer his dad took with a bow that year. That was probably over twenty five years ago. Bo Jackson (the football/baseball player) also loves the sport of deer hunting. Here's an article www.iowadnr.com/news/06nov/riceville.html

It should be a sin to even mention Rev. J. Jackson and the Rev. Al Sharpton in the same paragraph of men like MLK and Jackie Robinson! What scares me is just imagine how rotten those two crooks would be if they weren't reverands!!

Why don't black folks deer hunt? Between you and me, I thought it was a fair enough question. I would be willing to bet the percentage of blacks who buy deer licenses is far less than would be expected by the percentage of the population who are black. While there ARE blacks who hunt deer, it is still not at all that common. So, while almost 1 in 3 whites hunt, only 1 in 12 blacks hunt to start with. And that is an increase according to this article. Link: entertainment.news-leader.com/outdoors/_threeweeksago/1202-Wereseeing-239864.htmlAnd this is Indiana, not Missouri. I can assure you there are also many more blacks living in Missouri than Indiana. Their numbers are increasing, but it is still not exactly common in many parts of Indiana to see black deer hunters. Or turkey hunters.

I know blacks that hunt deer and rabbit. In my opinion the real answer is most blacks live in the city and just don't get a chance to hunt deer or were never introduced to it. Camby I'm proud of you for typing one little small sentence and getting this many takes on it. Nice Job!!!

I know some black folks deer hunt, like Bo Jackson, but overall, a very slim amount of them do. I'm talking deer hunting not rabbit or anything else.
I just find it odd that so few black men take up the sport. I know lots of black folks who hunt rabbits and who fish, I just never see any black men in the deer woods.
Not trying to be racist or anything, just asking your opinions.

On Imus ,hes done,he should just lay back and enjoy his last few years. On Zumbo,I just listened to Nugent in person about it all, very interesting. He wasted no time in giving him a call to straighten him out.
