I'm thinking about going tomorrow. Did anyone go Friday or today? Is it worth going to? I don't want to drive the 200 round trip if the show sucks. h.h.

Nah, between the price of parking, admittance and fighting the crowds there needs to be some deals there and any more they're much tougher to find.

I got there about 8:30 on Saturday morning. I walked right in. Not many customers there. I left about 11:30. It wasn't that busy. It's not the gun show it used to be, but then I don't think many of them are. A lot of military and Chinese stuff.

I went. So tell me, is there such a thing as a guns and gun stuff ONLY show anymore? Or, do any of the shows put the guns and gun stuff in one area, and all the other 'stuff' in another? Just a pet peeve of mine, but bringing two old $50 guns and $10,000 worth of flea market junk to a gun sale is bs. Fully 70% of the show was either junk or knives. I saw more of interest at the flower and garden expo next door. There were some decent guns, but little of interest to me. I did see 3 different styles of ruger carbine in 44 mag. Of course, my interest is rather narrow at this time. . . . . lol

I'm glad i didn't go! The last two i went to at Ft Wayne sucked. Cost almost 10.00 to park and get in and half of the show is flea market junk. Instead of having them once a month maybe 3 times a year would be better. h.h.

I went 2 years ago ... agree with the flea market comments. Saw very little that interested me. My friend did end up buying a case of Pistachio Nuts.

Man that makes me glad it was suggested that I not go. Last time I drove over there for this gun show I ended up buying from a dealer about 50 miles from home. The suggestion was that I go over and see him again. As I recall that one was full of military surplus and flea market too.

The Indy gun show has gone down hill tremendously the past couple of years, way to much military and foreign junk to get me to go up there again.....

I went with my boyfriend last year, and he was not impressed with the prices and selection of guns available, plus we were both suffocated by the amount of people surrounding us (and of course I was bored because I know nothing about guns)!

I went last year after not having gone for many years and I'll have to agree with the consensus. They're not what they used to be. I just wonder if a lot of dealers have opted out due to political pressure.

I'll jump on the bandwagon on this one and agree with all the comments. I took my father in law who just moved here from Las Vegas, it had been at least a year and a half since i'd been last, and I was embarrassed I had talked it up so much. It was a glorified flea market with MIPD guards at the doors..... I mean, who needs a flying pig??
