I've never seen the show except for when my friend, who headed the Rube Goldberg team at Purdue for several years, won the national championship with his Rube machine two or three years and was interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel on his show a couple of times along with the team...and the rest of the show was WAY over the top... ...speaking of Ted Nugent, my dad grew up in the same neighborhood as him when they were kids, and they went to CCD (Catholic "sunday school") together for at least one year to my knowledge. It's a small world! Dang ... now I have a delima. He is normally so over the top I cant stand him .... but I actually really, really liked him in that interview. Now what ......

I wouldn't want my kid to grow up to be like Ted Nugent. I would love it if my future kids grew up to enjoy hunting, stayed away from drugs, and had the courage to always stand up for what they believed in, I would just hope they were a little less obnoxious most of the time.

If Indiana folks remember,,,Ted wanted folks to abstain from purchasing Indiana hunting licenses to protest the decision to outlaw high fenced operations here. (He had a concert already scheduled in Merriville)
I lost alot of respect for him then.

If Indiana folks remember,,,Ted wanted folks to abstain from purchasing Indiana hunting licenses to protest the decision to outlaw high fenced operations here. (He had a concert already scheduled in Merriville) I lost alot of respect for him then. I had a talk with Kyle Hupfer shortly after that and he told me that he had a very lengthly phone conversation with Nugent about the fenced hunting in Indiana. When he finally got it across to Nugent that these "hunts" were taking place on as little as three acres of pens Nugent backed off his call for a boycott. Kyle said Nugent was very understanding after he heard all the facts. I thought Nugent was pretty laid back in the Kimmel interview.. .
