..........but I still complied.. The Ides of March, when they made meat of Caesar, is the annual Eat an Animal for PETA day. See www.yourish.com/2007/03/12/2850 Came about when they did that ad campaign equating the slaughter of 6 million Jews with the slaughter of chickens. I had part of a pig for breakfast. Part of a chicken for lunch and a bunch of whole shrimp for supper.. Heres to you PeTa...

I complied too... Can't say I had any meat for breakfast (does the milk in my cereal count?? ;D), but I had meat on my sandwich at lunch and the Blimpies I had for dinner certainly was NOT a vegetarian sub!

Had some hog for lunch, and yardbird for dinner. Just for good measure I loaded some rye with corned beef this morning for breakfast.

Had milk in my cereal in the morning (yes, that ticks them off too!) and a bunch of shrimp for dinner...as we like to say, "For every animal you don't eat, I'm going to eat three!" Hooray for everything that goes against anything PETA stands for (and I agree with the writer of the blog that the holocaust comparison is terribly insulting and disrespectful...shame on PETA!!!)!

Not a day goes by when I don't eat meat of some sort... even in Lent when I eat Nun... ;D (FWIW I relished some homemade Deer Jerkey...)
