I have a great friend out east. Love him like a brother, but he's the individual who convinced me that some people are truly accident prone! I learned early on not to take anything along with him on a fishing trip that I couldn'e live without!
A group of friends were at his house one evening when he just had to show us a split bamboo fly rod that a relative had left him. He had just installed a ceiling fan for his wife, and, you guessed it! Fan 1, fly rod 0!
But, he is truly a great guy.
Do you know any of his kin? parson

Yep! How about a fella I know that gets so caught up in the moment, he forgot to remove his muzzleloader ramrod for a follow-up shot not once, but twice.

Sometimes I think I qualify for being accident prone. Am always tripping on some root, limb, vine in the woods, dropping gloves and hats out of trees, had a bow fall from an old tv wire stand off that we used for bow, gun holders back before they became on sale. Plus other misc. stuff that has happened to me or I've done that I have forgotten, others have not. Had tackle boxes fall open when climbing down the sides of strip pits when climbing down to the water to fish, Now that was a mess. I try to make sure everything on my boat is set up to float or tied down, cause I know that I am inevitably going to send something into the water.

I seem to be particularly gifted at finding every spider web in the woods with my face! parson
