While out running my beagles and pre-scouting for turkeys today I saw two big flocks of Sandhill cranes heading back north. They were high up, riding the SW wind, moving right along. So spring must be just around the corner. h.h.

Saw the first of them around Wednesday last week, and they've been in the air ever since.

I haven't noticed any over Noblesville. I did catch a few flocks heading down back in December.

The ice damaged trees have been bleeding sap for the past 2 weeks in my neck of the woods.

Heard at least one spring peeper tonight, so spring season is definately close! Spring is in full swing at work; we got our first semi-load of mulch in last week!!
Crocus's will probably be blooming tomorrow.

I've been hearing a lot of Spring Birds singing. Also been doing some Mid-Winter clean-up on my property; as the weather has been beautiful with the high temp. yesterday of 80 degrees!
