We are getting ready to lose it....
Don't forget to move that clock forward Saturday night when you hit the sack.
Spring - Spring forwrad.
Fall - Fall back
Might want to check your PC's clock as some are automatic and some aren't.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. But I guess I have no choice but to change all of my clocks.... When it happens even earlier next year, we'll be lucky if we can start work at 8 am right after the change. It's barely going to be light enough to start at 8 on Monday as it is. I wanna know what the point of being on DST is, if we are only going to be off of it for 3 months.... ??

I wish they would have left things how they were! Me too! The sad thing is that it won't save any energy. People will be getting up, in the dark morning hours, turning on lights, TV, and other appliances. Evening means people will be driving around more (especially Kids), because it light, and this won't save anything.

I wish they would have left things how they were! Me too! Should have left things alone like they were..........prior to Congress adopting the time zones in the Standard Time Act of 1918! I remember when they came up with these senseless time zones, and we'd have to get up and set the sun-dial back an hour, then we'd have to go tell the rooster not to "cockldoodledo" for another hour.... man, things were just easier back then in 1918. Let's go back to the way it WAS.

So.... how how many of you anti-DST'ers were gripping last night about that beautiful extra hour we had in the evening after most folks were home from work, already ate dinner, etc... Looks like today's shaping up the same way! Days like this is what DST is great for!

I live in Southern Indiana where we have always changed and I can't imagine not having that extra hour of daylight in the evening.

I love DST. I get to have an extra hour each day to be outside with the kids and catch up on barn chores. It opens up weekend fun for me when I can get extra work done during the week. It seems easy to gripe and complain, but it takes a little effort to put a positive spin on situations. Don't always take the easy way out guys. There can be gold at the end of the rainbow!!!!

Looks like today's shaping up the same way! Days like this is what DST is great for! Um, that would be ME. And I'll be doing it again tonight too. You DO NOT want to talk to my wife either- she will be driving to school in the mornings in the dark for 90% of the school year. For someone who has a hard time seeing well in the dark, DST is just flat out dangerous.

All it did was eliminated any chance of me ever gettting a quick turkey hunt in before going to work-now I'm back to weekends or having to take vacation. Other than that- my wife works part time at Wally usually until 10pm and there were a lot of times last year that we were both getting in the house at the same time because of this stupidity and then having to get up an hour earlier the next morning to boot... Talk to the restuarant owners-they hate it because nobody wants to eat now until they are about ready to close. For the working stiffs all it did was made more work for them. For the people that don't have to worry about working outside-it just gave them more play time.

I thought about the morning hunters being hurt by it. Since we can now hunt turkeys in the afternoon isn't it a trade off? At least for most people?
