General region B for deer, unit 9 antelope. Same ranch I've hunted a unit in B for pronghorn twice. Did you see any elk? There's one unit that is super limited for elk tags but has some nice ones. I have never seen them here. The unit you are taking about is fifty miles south of here.

Hows the weather out there? Fog,light rain, and 35 degrees, not real nice out there. Having a cup of coffee before heading back out to look for my mule deer.

Congrats! Don't hurt yourself on the packout, lol! Not a chance of that 😁, I didn’t even have to load him. Got two young guys that take really good care of this old fat man.

Leaving for Wyoming for deer and antelope in the morning. Looks like I had better pack my wool longjohns. Openning day they are calling for temps of 39 for a high and 31 for a low. Critters should be on their feet and moving.

One thing I would like to add is go out and ask in the winter or during the mid summer period. I know from experience that the quickest way to get a no answer is to bother a farmer while he is busy on a tractor or combine.

Years ago I had a huge black Tom cat. One morning I walked about a half mile to my deer stand. Got up about 15’ all settled in and heard something scratching . Next thing I know here is Satan sitting in my lap. I didn’t have a clue he had followed me.
